Event concepts, proposals and production, with the Nashville partners to make them real.

I'm a creative producer and event manager in Nashville. I design event concepts, build the proposals that sell them, and produce them with the right local partners. Years of field marketing, brand development and interior design are the backbone, and I've spent my career in sales, so I know how to pitch, price and close.
Role fit
The core responsibilities of a creative proposal role at an experience or destination company, and the work that proves each one.
Built the Poker Power event proposal and the Design Week closing party deck. Create branded investment presentations for every Closet Factory client.
Planning Design Week's closing event around its "Home Grown" theme: six guest zones, activations and gift bags. Built moodboards, mockups and concept renders for events, brands and interiors.
I know Nashville's restaurants, private dining rooms, bars and venues as a regular, and I know what's new and what groups will love.
Price custom projects daily with upgrades and discounts while protecting commission. Built a $45K event budget that splits in-kind value from cash and projects a $4K surplus.
Planned 34% of Design Week's event value through in-kind partners, including a donated venue, and designed four sponsor tiers. Building trade partnerships with designers and builders.
Experienced in Salesforce and HubSpot; optimized a CRM to improve lead conversion. Run client projects through HoneyBook and keep supplier and project records current.
Venue sourcing, permitting, load-in and load-out, run of show and day-of management from years leading field marketing teams.
Event Manager for Nashville Design Week and an ASID member. Junior producer on the Sports Illustrated show at Miami Swim Week, for Teen Vogue and Condé Nast, and for Be the People in Austin.
A career in sales means I build proposals that are easy to sell. I've worked across creative, sales and production teams as a team lead and producer.
Balance active Closet Factory clients, the Design Week event and my own studio's client work at the same time.
What I bring to an experience team
I'm a regular at the venues, hotels and restaurants groups want to visit, and I know their managers as a guest and a partner. That turns into three things a proposal team needs.
Faster quotes and availability, so proposals go out sooner and hold dates first.
More room to negotiate minimums and packages, which protects gross profit.
Spaces and experiences other teams can't offer, the detail clients remember.
Backstage · Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show, Miami Swim Week
Junior producer and production assistant on the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show at Miami Swim Week, on Teen Vogue and Condé Nast shoots, and on Be the People in Austin. Backstage glam and wardrobe flow, talent call times, on-location sets and live runway timing for national media brands.
View on InstagramAs Event Manager, I'm planning the closing event around Nashville Design Week's "Home Grown" theme. Design Week moves to spring, so the party celebrates what's growing here: Nashville's makers, growers and designers. Guests move through six zones at White Hall, from a welcome garden and maker market to an interactive wall asking "What are you growing this year?" and a gift-bag send-off. Everything is sourced locally.
Spring 2027 closing event in planning; the "Home Grown" theme is Nashville Design Week's, and I'm the Event Manager planning the event. Sponsor names are prospects, not confirmed partners.
"Think Like a Poker Player": an original women's poker experience I created for a future event, built out as a full proposal, with concept, visual direction, branded backdrops and tables, a merch kit, partnership levels, budget and timeline.
Floor plans, mockups and several layouts for the same room, showing how one space can change to fit different needs over a lifetime of use. Events work the same way: a venue shifts from arrival to reception, dinner, stage and dance floor, and each stage needs its own layout, flow and furniture plan.
Logo suite, palette, voice, website guide, signage and printed pieces for an event planning business.
Wordmark, palette, magazine covers and postcards with a desert-sky visual language.
Identity, packaging and a 12-month launch plan across PR, social, email and retail.
Moodboard, graphic and photography direction, and an ESG commitment page.
A one-day personal brand intensive with a custom workbook, style guide and content plan.
Concept boards and elevations for residential clients.
Event production, field marketing, sales and design, across Nashville, Miami, Austin, Boston and Atlanta.
Leading the closing party: concept, run of show, activations, catering, AV, gift bags, sponsor tiers and a $45K budget built on in-kind partners.
Junior producer and production assistant on the Sports Illustrated swim fashion show at Miami Swim Week, a high-profile runway event with media, talent and brand partners.
Junior producer and production assistant for Teen Vogue, part of Condé Nast, delivering to a national media brand's standards and timelines.
Full sales cycle on custom projects: consultation, design, branded investment presentations, pricing with upgrades and discounts, and close. Several client proposals in progress at once, paid on commission.
Brand identities, event proposals and sponsor decks. Planned and hosted wellness and fitness events, retreats, workshops and branded pop-ups.
Led teams on brand activations for years: staffing, on-site execution, logistics and brand application across events and merch.
Junior producer and production assistant on Be the People in Austin, working alongside a cross-functional production crew.
Space planning, sourcing and installs, plus my own practice, AK Contemporary Interiors, run through a CRM with weekly client check-ins.
The Nashville locals love, with the relationships to book it.
My network
I know the managers at Nashville's venues, hotels and restaurants as a guest and a partner, not from a vendor list.
Availability and pricing come back fast, so proposals go out sooner and dates get held first.
Room to negotiate minimums, add-ons and packages, which protects gross profit on every program.
Spaces and experiences other teams can't offer, the detail that wins the proposal.
Advanced investing and tax strategy for women, built as a signature group program for a client's stay in Nashville.
Pitched the way a destination team would: a corporate client brings a group to Nashville, and Money Magic becomes the signature program running through their stay. Advanced financial education in the morning, the best of Music City by night.
A wealth management firm hosting 120 of its top women clients in Nashville for three days. The same program works for a company's women's leadership summit.
Deepen relationships with high-value clients and book advisor consultations, measured in consultations scheduled, satisfaction scores and retention.
An opening-night dinner, a day of expert sessions and hands-on workshops, Nashville afternoon experiences, a dine-around and a farewell brunch.
Opening night stars magician Anna DeGuzman of Penn & Teller: Fool Us, a literal take on Money Magic, plus a songwriter round, a three-restaurant dine-around and gifts from women-owned Nashville makers.
The Money Map: each guest builds a one-page personal plan in the workshop and reviews it one-on-one with an advisor before she flies home.
Transfers, venues, F&B, activities, gifts, AV and staffing, each priced with a markup under one contract, the way a DMC delivers it.
Concept inspired by brands like Ellevest; no confirmed partnership. Sessions are educational and would be led by licensed professionals, not individual financial advice.
Program options
One session, a pour list and advisor office hours. Works as an add-on to an existing meeting or incentive already in town.

Three salon evenings across a quarter for a client's local office, building a community of clients over time.

Drift for the salon sessions and opening night, a hotel ballroom for larger sessions, and three dine-around restaurants.
Certified financial planners and a CPA approved by the client, magician Anna DeGuzman (proposed; availability and fee to confirm), and a Nashville songwriter.
Opening dinner, session-day lunch, farewell brunch and a signature pour list with zero-proof options.
Invitations, tarot-style session cards, badges and the Money Map workbook.
Photographer and short-form video for recaps and partner social content.
Airport and dine-around coaches, plus a custom hat bar, studio tour and spa partners. Gifts from women-owned Nashville makers.
Partners would be chosen from my Nashville network and confirmed for each client.
Other directions I'd present
Top performers become the headliners: a green room with glam and styling, a branded red carpet, dinner on a music venue's stage and a private songwriter set. Guests take home a letterpress gig poster with their names on the lineup.
Teams join professional songwriters and co-write a song about the company's year. Each song is performed live at dinner, and the winning track is recorded that night.
A horse farm or distillery estate outside the city: a whiskey tasting, a custom hat and boot bar, a lantern-lit long-table supper at sunset and a bonfire with an acoustic set.
These are sample concepts to show how I think. Venues and partners would be confirmed for each client.
